Live now
On the web at app.orbira.co and on the App Store and Google Play, wherever you live. Local chapters in Macon & Middle Georgia, Atlanta and Southwest Florida are open; every other city’s chapter is forming.
Introductions with a reason
Each week, a few people worth meeting, based on what you can help with and what you’re looking for.
Your card
A page you can share with anyone, on Orbira or not, with a QR code for events and a contact file. Off until you turn it on.
Yes before messages
Every request carries a short note that says why. Ongoing messaging opens only after acceptance.
Meet in person or on video
Suggest a time, add it to your calendar, or use Orbira’s private video call. Calls are never recorded.
Relationship stages
Connected, Talked, Met and Established, each confirmed by both of you in a private check-in.
Your network map
Who you know, city by city.
Chapters forming city by city
Join from anywhere. While your city’s chapter forms, meet members in the nearest open one, in person or over video. A chapter opens local introductions at 100 members.
City Organizers
Members who volunteer to start the chapter where they live, under the charter.
iOS and Android apps
On the App Store and Google Play, with notifications when someone says yes or sends a message, and sign-in with Apple or Google.
Safety and control
Report and block on every profile and conversation. Delete your account anytime.
On the way
Being finished now.
More chapters
Each opens at 100 members. Where members and organizers are growing decides which one is next.
Orbira Campus
Looking for the first pilot schools in Middle Georgia, to connect students with mentors and local professionals.
Next
After the pilot, shaped by what the first members tell us.
Introduce two people you know
With a reason for both of them. Each still says yes first.
Ask for an introduction
Ask a connection to introduce you to someone they know. They can say no privately.
“We already met”
Scan each other’s code to log a meeting that happened outside the app. You both still confirm it.
Credit for helping
When an Ask gets answered, credit who helped. Over time, helping earns recognition such as Connector. How many people you know never does.
Trusted
The last relationship stage: people who’d confidently recommend each other.
Travel Mode
Introductions lined up for a trip, private by default and by city only. It waits until two cities are busy enough to make a trip worth it.
Help when you move
A plan for your new city, built from people you already know there and introductions through them.
Share your map
An image of your network across cities, if you choose to share it.
Start from LinkedIn
Fill in your profile from your own LinkedIn export. It never creates connections.
Later
As chapters grow.
Chartered chapters
A chapter with steady activity, shared leadership and a signed charter becomes official.
Local Guides
Members who choose to help people new to their city.
A welcome for newcomers
A note from local organizers, and introductions with a reason. Never automatic messages.
Small group calls
Video gatherings for a handful of people, hosted by organizers.
Organizers across cities
Organizers from different cities meeting to share what works.
Further out
Where we’re heading. What we learn before then decides the details.
Meeting prep
Before you meet: how you met, when you last talked and what they’re looking for, from what you can already see. Plus a weekly summary, if you want one.
Events
Bring in the events organizers already run, then keep track of who you met there. An event never marks anyone as Met on its own.
Programs for employers
Help for people who relocate for work to build a network in their new city. A sponsor never affects trust or who you’re introduced to.
Never
Not on the roadmap, now or later.
