While it forms
What happens when you join while Tampa Bay is forming.
Join and choose Tampa Bay
You count toward its chapter. Local introductions start when 100 people there have joined.
Meet people now
While it forms, you’re introduced to members in the nearest open city: in person if it’s within 150 miles, otherwise over video.
Invite people you’d want to meet
Every member counts toward the 100, so the people you bring open it sooner.
Yes before messages
Someone can send you a connection request with a short note. Ongoing messaging opens only after you accept.
Founding Members
The first 100 confirmed members in Tampa Bay.
Who
The first 100 members in Tampa Bay who have confirmed a work or school email, or whose profile the Orbira team has reviewed.
What it means
A Founding Member mark on your profile. You were here when the chapter started.
What it doesn’t
More introductions, or better ones. Nothing on Orbira buys that, and being early doesn’t either.
How to help
Invite one or two people others would be glad to meet. That’s how a city fills with the right people.
Who it’s for
Anyone building a professional life here.
Help form the chapter
Chapters are started by the people in them.
City Organizers
Two or more members volunteer, sign the charter and get support from the Orbira team. It’s a volunteer role: organizers can’t charge members or use the role to prospect. How chapters work
